Respect the recycle bins

Trash litters the ground at the recycling center on 15 Mile Rd.
To the Calhoun County recyclers using the bins at the recycling area located on 15 Mile Road, we’re asking that you please do not discard, fling, toss, chuck, cast aside, throw out, cast out, throw away or dispose of household garbage such as grills, plastic bags full of trash, aerosol cans, windows, lawn chairs…etc., in the bins used for collecting recycleables.

We also respectfully request that you do not leave any items, trash or recycleables, on the ground around the containers as it can pose a safety hazard, especially when it’s dark.

We understand that the bins are full quite often, and we are working to alleviate this problem.
