Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Saturday, May 5, 2012, 10am – 12pm
A Household Hazardous Waste Collection is being held on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 from 10am until noon at the county building parking lot in Marshall. Items that will be accepted include: old gasoline, kerosene, and fuel oil (must be in approved container), brake fluid, pesticides, old prescriptions, herbicides, anti-freeze, solvents, cleaners, stain and oil based paint, acids, pool chemicals, aerosol cans, batteries (flashlight and button), mercury, and fluorescent light bulbs. Items that will NOT be accepted include: latex paint, explosives, motor oil, biomedical waste, radioactive material, driveway sealer, car batteries, and school chemicals. NO LATEX PAINT!

Saturday, September 8, 2012, from 9am – 1pm
ITEMS ACCEPTED:
All items can be dropped off for FREE. Open to Calhoun County Residents ONLY.
Electronics: Computers (all types), computer accessories (keyboards, scanners, printers, etc.), televisions (all sizes), stereos, speakers, microwaves, copy machines, CD/DVD players, VCR’s, telephones, cell phones, coffee makers, vacuum cleaners, cell phones, holiday lights, toasters and other household items with a cord.
*no freon containing items or household hazardous waste will be accepted

Items that will be accepted include: old gasoline, kerosene, and fuel oil (must be in approved container), brake fluid, pesticides, old prescriptions, herbicides, anti-freeze, solvents, cleaners, stain and oil based paint, acids, pool chemicals, aerosol cans, batteries (flashlight and button), mercury, and fluorescent light bulbs.
